Here's a profile and video of our awesome Freight & Logistics tutor Theodore
What started as a favour to a friend turned into an unexpected and lucrative career for American/Canadian Theodore. Filling in temporarily at accessories giant ‘Coach’ in New York, Theodore discovered his natural flair for relationship building. Coach did too, quickly offering him a permanent role as a freight and logistics analyst. That was ten years ago, and since then Theodore has worked as an analyst all over the world, across a diverse range of industries. He manages fleets, organises warehouses, and improves production efficiency. And most importantly he builds relationships. Recently Theodore has worked throughout the Pacific Islands, and contracted to the Australian government working on top-priority military and housing projects. Now, he’s teaching people new to freight and logistics at Ignite Colleges, how to get a head start in this fast-growing industry.
“The freight and logistics job market is booming in New Zealand…from truck drivers to freight forwarders there are opportunities for everyone. The great thing about it is once you get the training you need, it’s very easy to pick up. No matter how you did at school, with the right training you can work anywhere in the world, in pretty much any industry. And you can make really good money. This course is an ideal stepping stone to building a future, forging a career, and providing for your family.”
